Innovation, creativity and sustainability in the focus of the expert jury

According to the inspiring motto “sustainable, creative, innovative – products for a sustainable lifestyle”, on 3 May 2011 Dkfm. Wolfgang Pfarl, President of Austropapier – Association of the Austrian Paper Industry, and Dr. Gertrude Eder, member of the management of Roxcel and chairman of the advisory board, together with ATV presenter Volker Piescze, honoured the winners and persons receiving special recognition for the printissimo-emballissimo competition 2010, in front of around four hundred guests.

In its 24th year, Austropapier invited people to submit printed matter for printissimo, in the categories of prospectus, editorial, image, direct or art. At emballissimo, products made of paper, corrugated paper or card in the topics of carrying, covering, corrugated, three dimensional or functional, competed for the favour and votes of the expert jury.

Creative design and technical perfection
Out of almost 170 submissions, a total of 34 projects were nominated for the main prize.
Out of these nominations, the winning teams were able to take home five printissimi and five emballissimi.
The glass trophies were designed by pupils of the vocational school for metal and glass technology in Mollardgasse.
